Overview

This is the full Strążyska package: meadow, pass, and the popular Siklawica detour. You still earn Czerwona Przełęcz's bird's-eye take on Giewont, then add the double cascade for sound, spray, and a different scale of landscape.

Surfaces mix gravel road, steep stairs, narrow forest tread, and wet rock near the falls—footing varies hour by hour with sun and rain. Early spring often means ice in the shaded gorge floor even when town feels mild.

Expect a longer, more varied day than the pass-only variant, with more exposure to slippery limestone. No strollers; solid boots and patience on crowded steps help.

Points of interest

  • Siklawica Waterfall — A stunning 23-meter double cascade located just a short detour from the main path.
